Andy Levine, HFII Head Coach

For a little bit of background information on Andy Levine please read on.  Andy comes to the Cudas for his second season as head coach from a background of teaching, coaching, and living life to its fullest.  Andy has coached numerous swim teams in Colorado, most notably the CAC Stingrays for the last four seasons.  Andy also spent one season coaching the Highlands Ranch Boys’ swim team and did not reclaim his position due to his efforts in training for his own swimming glory (something that he has since seized (swimming glory)).  Instead of focusing solely on swimming Andy has taken the opportunity of his newfound appreciation for personal athleticism to train for Triathlons.  Currently, Andy is training for the half Ironman that takes place in Aurora in September.  Sports aside, Andy is married to one Sadie Levine, has two glorious Italian Greyhounds named Rocco and Izzy and is about to start his eighth year teaching high school English at Rock Canyon High School.

One of Andy’s goals for the Cudas is to have every swimmer to be legal in all four strokes by the end of the season.  He realizes that this will take some serious effort on everyone’s part, but feels it is an obtainable goal.  Andy realizes each swimmer has different goals and he wants for every one of them to strive for those goals.  With the aid of Andy’s swimming knowledge and personal background, in addition to a great coaching staff, he believes this is very possible.  Andy is looking forward to a great first year in RMSL and a successful one at that.  It is with great pleasure, honor and dignity that Andy joins the Cudas for his second season as head coach.
